Reinterpreting Summer Trends for Fall
If Summer 2005 was all about whimsy, then the theme of Fall 2005 is luxury and opulence. Rich textures of velvet, tweed and corduroy combine with regal shades of purple, teal and rust for a positively delightful result. Chocolate brown and metallics continue their reign and, as for accessories, more is still more. Layers of necklaces, big earrings, cocktail rings, oversized bags, round-toe shoes and stacked heels are things to look for.
Several of summer's trends have been reinterpreted for crisper weather-- cropped pants, full skirts and sequined shrugs are still wardrobe front runners. Put an autumn twist on them using color, texture and of course, the perfect accessories.
