Spring Trends
I love spring. But not just for the warmer temperatures. It's the endless possibilities when it comes to getting dressed. Warm weather brings a veritable trend explosion, and makes me itch to spend my disposable income on equally disposable clothing. I'm not talking about wasting your money -- just adding a few elements that will up the ante a bit, and keep your look fresh. With that in mind I've compiled a list of key trends that are sure to hit critical mass this summer, and some tips for wearing them. Enjoy!

Shorts -- It started with bermudas, then Johnson created mass hysteria with the launch of their uber-fashionable (and uber-expensive) "formal" shorts. Whether you go long or short, there's a look to suit every style & every budget.
Ruffles -- Girly girls, rest assured, spring and summer don't mean the death of the feminine styles that ruled the runways this fall. The stores are awash with flirty ruffled pieces.
Lace, Embroidery, and Crochet -- You could call it the remnants of last year's boho mania, but I prefer to think of it as the best parts of an overdone look. A few well placed items can make even the most ordinary outfit interesting when worked right.
